But! I’ve actually had a really good time writing. For the last nine days, I’ve added almost 20K words to a novel. I know that’s not necessarily impressive for most writers out there, but these nine days included about 48 hours spent on busses and airplanes, the obligatory jet lag and the ton of sleep it usually requires to fix, a full 40-hour non-writing-related work week, and catching up with friends after a month out of town.
